The Romans were very intelligent they had very advanced technology some of the technology they had were the coliseum, roads and bridges.
The roman history of architecture was divided into two distinctive eras. the first era was the republic where the origins of architecture could be traced to the Etruscans who mirrored the Greek the Phoenician traditions, building large temples to honor and worship their gods.
The second era of their architecture started in 27 B.C and is classed as the period of the empire.
The period of the Romans architecture dates the establishment of the republic in 509 B.C to the transfer of the capital empire from rome to the eastern empire in 330 B.C.
